If you just registered to the forum I'd like to know who you are! Please leave a little message about who you are and why you are here. I probably know you either in real life or from another forum, but I might not know what name you are going by here.

I'll start...

My name is Bryan Garris and I got this little forum at first so people could leave feedback on my site. Then I thought it might be interesting to have some of my friends come here and post stuff. Kind of like we already do on blogs and stuff.

Anyway my nick here and a lot of other places is Corran. It's a character from a Star Wars book. Yeah.

Anyways I hope to see some people around here in the next couple of weeks!

Hey Yall, I'm Daniel Lastinger, better known as DanCoon. I have red hair, and I play the flute. I'm a soon to be music therapy major, when I graduate from VSU. Bryan and I get together and play Nintendo DS quite often, usually on Fridays, so thats how we know each other, aside from being collegues. I listen to electronic music mostly, and yes I do own a disco ball. Oh and... "Say no to binary star systems.

Heya.
Well, I feel a bit uncomfortable with telling my real name, so I stick with Flare Shard until I have talked a bit to some of you guys...
As you can see by my cruel English, yes, I'm not from here, but I hope that won't matter at all *crossesfingers*
I'm rather an artist with pencil and paper than with music, but I really enjoy listening to good stuff whenever I can grab some :3
Actually, I stumbled across this forum when I looked through the Cave Story Remix forum (this remix ist truly awesome) in search of good music for fun and maybe some useful stuff for my own project (I could talk about that a lot, but it won't fit in here, will it?), so please don't look down on me like I'm a complete music nitwit (wait, I am a nitwit in music making affairs ._.).
I've already witnessed that Corran is making really fine music...
Hope I will get this fine music on my project... But well. You could just ignore me if you want O_o

Well hey there! Glad to see someone finally wandered over here. No surprise that it's due to the Cave Story Remix Project. Anyway, glad to see someone around that I don't know IRL.

Tell me about your project. If you would like to use any of my music, it's fine with me, as long as I am given credit obviously! Specifically, my real name and website would be great!

Good to meet you FlareShard!

Nah, well, it's not that great...
Me and a good friend of mine have been working on an animated fantasy/pseudo-anime series for a while, it's called "White Eyes", but unfortunately, it's still under construction (well, yeah, we're still at the storyline, because we just found a lot of stuff in the storyline that didn't make much sense at all... but hey, we make progress and we have most of the characters done)...
But thanks a bunch for your offer, I can use any help that I can get for this project (after all, the team consists of the breath-taking legion of 2 people - my friend as artist and yours truly as storywriter and character designer, which means we absolutely lack animators (Flash preferred) and other people who could lend us one or more helping hands...).
When we ever finish a good version in English, you'll be one of the first to hear about it.

Well, if you do ever have a mock-up or something, feel free to drop by and post a link. Good luck!

Good to meet you, Llama. So, another flute player huh? Are you thinking about making a career out of it or anything? Just wondering.

Glad you like the CSRP.

Also if you haven't seen, I have several mp3s up on my site of flute/piccolo recitals I've played.
